Victoria's Secret thermal shirt My mom bought me one of these from Victoria's Secret a couple of years ago, and it's absolutely my favorite long-sleeved shirt. It's in a dusty pine green, mmm. So I've been scouring every catalog since then, waiting for it to go on sale. And found it online today! Bought two, one in light blue and one in dark purple, for $30 each. YAY! I totally look better in this shirt than that model does, mainly because I have a nicer rack. ;)

Well, girls love gifts, but guessing the size can indeed be a dangerous prospect if the woman is weight-conscious. Perhaps you can give her a picture of it and say you'd like it to be her gift, if she'd let you know her size? I dunno...
