hahaha
well, um...
on the east coast everyone cares about baseball right now. Red Sox vs. Yankees, game 7 tonight. I have a bet riding on it.
I have a cold. I have a runny nose and a sneeze and am sleepy.
I went to bellydance class last night.
I am knitting my sister-in-law a scarf.

i didnt know you had a sister in law. i didnt know you had a brother. that is very nice of you. is it a gift scarf?

all i really care about right now is baseball and i was excited to see the red sox pull it off. unbelievable. now if the cardinals could just pull it off i would be a happy monkey.

i would like to try bellydancing sometime. i think it sounds fascinating.

Yes I have an older brother and a younger sister, and they're both married. All four siblings will be getting scarves for Christmas. I also realized that I should make something for my dad's-new-wife's baby shower... which will take precidence, because it's sooner.

GO SOX! That was awesome. I stayed up 'til 1:30 'cause of it though...

Bellydancing is great fun. I recommend trying it.

i read in the paper today about people knitting pink scarves to show support for breast cancer cure research.
i wish knitting didn't hurt my hands.

Well... I guess it's just for a symbol... but I'd prefer, like, donating money. ;)

OH!!!

You might knit the "right" American way... [livejournal.com profile] tpau, who taught me, is from Russia and she taught me how to knit the Russian way. She says that it reduces the impact on your hands a WHOLE LOT.

I wish you could come see me so we could compare. I know I can knit for hours without problems as long as I take the break to turn the needles around (i.e. when I knitted with the circulars without pausing, it got a little bad after, oh, 3 hours of knitting. But I did so on straights for 5 hours at my new hire orientation without problems.)
