Dammit. The weather is doing that thing where it gets cold.

I dislike.

I'll swap you. It's getting hot here.

I'll gladly swap! Oh yes! I am a warm-weather girl.

Sorry you have to be miserable so I can smile. But...

I'm doing the happy dance here. :)

Thanks for the offer, but I might already have more than I can handle. I mean it's fine NOW, but the snow hasn't started yet. The first thing everyone says when they hear I've just moved here is "oh boy, get ready for the winter."

Well, I have a coat, but I suspect it might not be warm *enough*. It would have sufficed an Oklahoma winter, and it did fine in Japan (for the one year I was not pregnant and fit into it), but I have my doubts about it being enough here.

Of course, it's kind of loose now, and I could layer under it.

Veronica has a nice big coat Mom bought her last month (pink, of course), and I got one for Milo at Target (black and orange, much more acceptable). I have NO idea what Nick's going to do, but luckily I'm not responsible for clothing him. ;)

Yeah, my Oklahoma coat was only enough because I'd layer and keep out of the cold as much as possible.

Is Veronica a pink lover?

Yeah! Then winter will be better for 2 reasons:

1) It'll be warmer

and 2) You'll have lots of visitors.

Veronica loves pink. I do NOT know where she got it from, but she has migrated from purple to pink. (I've also migrated, from purple to green, so I don't feel betrayed or anything, but still, PINK?)

I have not yet migrated. ;)

i will sit back in the sun all day and tan while i watch you bellydance with the natives.
sounds ideal :)

Feh. Quit trying to rush things. I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that the leaves are changing. This is just a little nip in the air.

Not a little nip - it's a big bite!

And not the good kind. :(

I don't think I could handle Boston weather. Anything worse than an Oklahoma winter does not sound like fun.

Oh, pish-tosh. It won't even get below freezing by you. A little frost on the windows, maybe. Nice night to go stargazing or sip brandy and read a good book. :-)

Ack.. I need to get some more pants that actually fit (ie. not too short AND not to large around the waist). I think I have a total of 2 pairs that are going to work for winter. Crap.

Yeah, I have a bunch that are about 2 sizes too small in my closet... sigh... perhaps if I fast for winter. :P
