weekend!

k1ttycat's Christmas party was a blast. We sang carols and opened presents and there was even a surprise visit from Santa himself! As for presents, I got a margarita kit. Too bad I don't really like margaritas. ;)

The party ended with games - Super Monkey Ball 2 for me, which was awesome! - and then londo and I went back to my house. We did a lot of talking, which was very nice.

On Sunday we went grocery shopping, cooked some fine meals for lunch and dinner, and watched 2 episodes of Babylon 5 (the last two of season 4) and 3 episodes of Firefly (Out of Gas, Ariel, and War Stories). And we kept the air conditioning going, a lot. This was a hot weekend!

I was so going say JUST that.

"Those are three AWESOME Firefly episodes". Maybe even "War Stories is my favorite", though actually, I'd probably have to say that "Out Of Gas" is.

Mostly because it was the first time I really, truly sympathized with Jayne. I mean, how can you NOT, seeing him all dirty and confused?

Then again...SHIT!

Firefly is just good. I'll leave it at that.

"Out of Gas" was the first episode I saw. It was on a static-y antenna connection, right before a shift at Papa John's, and with the non-linearity of the episode... I was very confused. But I knew that I liked what I saw, a LOT. :)
