The red line must be a lot faster than the orange. It is at least fast enough to make up for the longer bike ride in the morning. I suppose it's a good thing that my commute involves more work on my part, now. A longer bike ride and more stairs... Or perhaps it just felt like more work because I didn't get enough sleep? I was really slogging up some of those stairs.

I'd say that my first night in the apartment was uneventful, except that I was awakened at 4am by a thunderstorm and had to go around closing all the windows to keep the rain out. Bleh. Oh, and since I'm stupid and didn't plan to have a shower curtain, I have a bedsheet slung over the shower rod and safety-pinned into place. Hey, it keeps the water from escaping!

I still haven't received any mail. This is making me grumpy. I want paycheck!

Uh, yeah, the red line is MUCH faster than the orange. I lived halfway between the two, with bus connections to each, and I learned to avoid the orange line like the plague.

I'd check back at your old address every once in a while to see if they're getting your mail.

Yeah, I really learned this morning. I tried going to Sullivan instead of Davis because it's slightly closer (although it involves crossing 28) and realized that (1) getting on at the second stop of a train is much better for getting a seat than getting on at the fourth, and (2) I didn't actually save any time, because the red travels faster. So I'll be continuing to go to Davis, I think.
