Note that there's a LINK in my post, that goes to a map of where the restaurant is. That should deal with your directions question. I don't know about parking; except that it's freaking Davis and Porter, so you should be able to find somewhere to park. There is food: it is a bakery/coffee house, but actual food shouldn't be far if necessary.
no, i mean LINKS. it is liek lynx but slightly improved. it is not for pda, it is for *NIX environments. it allows me to click on links where lynx wanted me to get to them with arrow keys.
Rt 2 into Rt 16. Left onto Rt 16 East at the light.
Proceed straight through intersection w/ MassAve.
At next MAJOR LIGHT, turn RIGHT onto BROADWAY (LANDMARK: Grocery store.)
Broadway will come to a fork/turn at Teele Square (has sign in middle of intersection); STAY RIGHT. You are now on HOLLAND.
Proceed down HOLLAND until you see "Parking" signs. I recommend waiting for the SECOND "Parking" sign, and turn right there. Find a parking space and put the car in it. Alternatively, proceed down HOLLAND or, after the fork ELM to find on-street.
NOTE: Once through Davis Sq., you will come to a fork; bear RIGHT, you are now on ELM.
Carberry's is 187 Elm St.
VERSION 2:
Rt 2 into Rt 16. Left onto Rt 16 East at the light.
At next light, turn RIGHT onto MASSACHUSETTS AVE.
Proceed down MASSAVE until (landmark) Rindge Ave, which will be on your right. Get into the LEFT lane. Take the FIRST legal LEFT onto a small residential street, RUSSELL. (No light, break in median strip.) SLOW WAY DOWN IMMEDIATELY. If you're really attentive, you'll note that between two of the houses on the RIGHT is an unmarked driveway into a parking lot. You can park there (use any spot marked "TERC".)
Alternatively, park on Russell as close to the light as possible (about 3 blocks down). The light is the intersection of Russell and ELM. Carberry's is to the right at that intersection, and plainly visible.
