Chase is a big inspiration for posting a lot. Yay, Chase!

I'm $.05 short of getting a soda from downstairs. Ahh, the sweet agony. I have enough pennies but no nickels.

However, free cookies today. I've had two oatmeal raisin and one peanut.

It's so easy to forget things like rent and car payments. I hope I have enough this month. Certainly the paycheck I'm "working for" right now is going to be icky, even with my raise. I missed a day last week (holiday, only got 3 hours of holiday pay for it) and didn't come in yesterday (although I needed that break). Glad I have a budget... I wish Goldbug would move in with me sooner. But I'm not the only one that needs to save money.

I'm glad to hear Chase has decided to move to CA next summer. Part of me wishes to do the same. I don't think it's possible to graduate by then, however, and well... Jason. Yeah. He's too damn practical to discuss anything that far in the future.

I feel that because of this, pains are going to be taken to not have me be a vital member of Gaea Spore. That makes me sad.

To the extent that we are trying to avoid making anyone essential, we're trying it about equally with everyone. Up until when I read his latest post, I wasn't sure Chase would be coming, we aren't sure Amar is coming, we're not sure Thom is coming... So the only people we can really count on for the long term are myself and Chris. Unfortunately, that's not enough people to play what we want to be playing, so we end up making other people essential. If you end up less essential, it's because we are mostly adapting old songs to new members at this point, and the things you play are either a)things we never wrote a suitable part for or b)keyboard, which Thom already plays and knows the parts for. So, as we write new songs, your parts will get more essential, because you'll be in from the start.

That's true. I know you're trying hard to figure everything out and make things work now and make everyone happy, and I appreciate that a lot. *hugs*
