Last night was very nice. I got more sleep than I have any night before this week. I was sad missing dance, but sometimes other things take priority.

Before all that, however, was the not-nice part: my bike was stolen from the Malden Center T station. I had been tempting fate too much. My lock had been broken for a long time. Although I could make it look like it's locked from afar, a close examination proved it to be faulty.

So now I'm bikeless. Sniff. The upside is that [livejournal.com profile] londo has a bike to lend me. We just haven't discussed how long it'll take said bike to get here.

I hope the people who stole it are enjoying it. It's in such bad shape - broken shifters, bent wheel, loose brakes, rusted chain, etc. I was going to be in the market for a new one (or londo's) anyway.

My calves are killing me.

Missed you last night. I had brought some Sandman books to lend you. But then again, getting actual dreams, rather than just reading about them, must be accounted a Good Thing :-)

Heh, looks like everyone remembers to bring me things on the day I'm not there! ([livejournal.com profile] tpau has been forgetting knitting tools for me for a few weeks now)

Oh, it's not a bad walk, just 15-20 minutes or so. But I had done a new type of dance the night before and not adequately stretched my calves, so they were hurting anyway, before I started walking.

Yeah, people who steal random shit like that are incredibly annoying. Oh well, at least they got their due when they got my mostly-broken bike! :P
