I think the same person who put the bomp in the bomp-bah-bomp-bah-bomp also stole the pickle from the pickle jar.

hmm

Did they also put the RAM in the Ramma-lamma-ding-dong?

Pickle jar. I assume from your Subject that that's a variation on what we said -- the cookie from the cookie jar.

Your mom put the ram in the ramma-lamma-ding-dong.

I like your version much better. Who would steal a pickle when they could steal a cookie instead?

I know there are regional variations on almost every childhood rhyme/song/whatever, but it never occured to me that there would be a variation to the cookie jar. :)

Who was that man?

But he stole your cookie pickle! And due to his theft, your baby's heart is luminescent (the cookie, therefore, is obviously made of lead and was... I'll stop).

In the middle of a heat wave, pickles are way better than cookies.

Hahaha. You have no idea how often my roommate(s) and I use that sort of comeback.

Hmmm. IMO, that depends on the type of cookie.

I've never yet met a cookie that satisfied the dehydrated-and-lacking-salts body craving like a pickle does. I'm not ruling out the possibility of its existence, but I think that if it exists, it must be a rare type indeed.

Hmm. I don't understand dehydration very well, and in my limited knowledge, it seems like salt is the type of thing I wouldn't want to add to my body. Water, yes - salt, no.

Sweat is very salty. If you sweat a lot, your body loses a lot of salt (and some important trace minerals), and needs to have it replaced. Pickles are a good source.

Your body is actually pretty good at recognizing what it needs. Unless you are one of the rare people who like Gatorade normally, thinking that Gatorade tastes good is an excellent sign that you really should drink a lot of it now. Similarly, even though I normally like pickles, when I am dehydrated, they become a nearly orgasmic experience.

Hmm. Depending on the flavor of the Gatorade, I'll think it's good normally or not. Then again, slightly dehydrated is kind of my normal state. I don't think my body actually knows that it's supposed to use the water I give to it.
