caltren, I realize I never posted the follow-up post to this one (where Atlantic Coast told me, "If you want to be a flight attendant for us, move.")
Quite simply: I didn't want to move.
I called them up and said I wasn't willing to do so, and they said okay. I can reapply in 6 months from that date (which was late March), but who knows if they'll have positions in Boston open then, either. Sigh.
