D'you have snow tires yet? Bike Nashbar makes studded snow tires for mountain bikes -- mine are the r0x0r. Himself doesn't have a pair yet because he only has a road bike at the moment.

Oh wow, moan. If I took my bike further than just a mile to the gym and back every day, those would be a great investment. We'll see how much I end up riding here... :)
