I talk a hell of a lot more than anyone else I know, who has one of these. Is it good, or bad?

i think it's good that you talk a lot. it's way more interesting than not talking a lot. it's definitely better than me going to your page every so often and thinking "geez, hasn't that girl written anything yet? it's been since last thursday!" i guess i'm just a leech, reading and reading, seldom commenting, and updating only once a day. but i have a reason for that! it drives me nuts to try to read multiple entries for a day in upside down format. they almost always reference a previous one that i haven't read yet, and i'm not smart enough to start at the bottom. so there! :p i guess i'll get over it when i have something to say twice in the same day.

I've adapted the habit of going to the last friend entry that I've read and reading up and forward. It makes it easier on... like reading a novel of different people's lives.

Another way to do it is use the "calendar" mode... It posts the notes in top-to-bottom chronological order, easy to read! Just involves a bit more clicking and visiting everyone's page one by one. =P
