So I've come up with this little scale system for when I miss classes, but I need people's help to impliment the idea. I'm keeping track of every time I miss a class, and associating a point value with it. Here are how the point values are determined:

0 - I'm dead, or close to it, and there is absolutely no way I can make it to class.

1 - I'm sick, or out of town for a good reason, and going to class wouldn't be best for me.

2 - Going to class would compromise my health in some way (i.e. only had a little bit of sleep and going to class instead of sleeping would impair my driving, etc)

3 - I'm just in a bad mood and don't want to make it to class.

4 - I overslept, or was running late, and although it would only take a bit of work to make it to class, I didn't go.

5 - I was standing at the doorway of the classroom and decided instead to go and have a taco or something. ;)

Anyway, at the end of the year I'll have all these points (hopefully not too many), and I need suggestions as to how I will translate them into some kind of penalty for myself. Something I will dread this much in advance, like...

ooh man. Freezing my mud character for that many days. :( That's one.

Anyway, I need more suggestions! Help! :)

I think that oversleeping should certainly be in a higher position that being in a bad mood...

Well, by oversleep I don't mean that I sleep through class (that's usually caused by sickness or bad moods), but rather like today... I slept until 8:10 and didn't have time to really shower or anything, but still went to class. I thought about not going, and there are somewhat valid reasons, but not very valid.
