38. Who was the best new person you met?
Kevin. No offense to the other people I met, but... yeah.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003:
Be honest to yourself.
There's no 40. I feel like there should be 40, because that's a nice even multiple-of-ten number. Or even better, 42. If you don't recognize the importance of that number, go read a book.
Anyway, I'm adding more.
40. Did you break anyone's heart this year? Did your heart get broken?
Yes and yes.
41. What kept you insane? (cf. #34)
The stresses of finishing school and a relationship plus moving across the country without a job... My parents' divorce proceedings...
42. Did you majorly alter your appearance in any way during 2003?
I think I cut my hair off before 2003. But I did bleach it early in the year! That was pretty drastic. I eventually cut off the bleached ends, and now I'm growing it out again. I also got the second hole in my right ear re-pierced this summer, so that it's even with my left ear and nicely spaced from the first hole.
There, much better.
