I'm currently at a 5 on a 1-10 drunk scale. Going much slower than I meant to, but hopefully I'll still hit 8 (9 and 10 are BAD) before passing out.

I was really hungry earlier, and only had $8 on me, so I couldn't order out for thai food ($10 delivery minimums, etc). So Mike and I walked to the grocery store and I managed to buy enough to make some red curry for just under $8. I made it, and it was good. Yay for spicy curry.

Then we watched the first four episodes of Angel before Mike had to leave. He didn't do a good job of making me drink, but he did a good job of being company, so that's good.

When you're desperate to get drunk, you make up some REALLY strange drinks. I put tequila in orange-strawberry-banana juice. I'm crazy.

That drink just sounds nasty. This is why I try to make sure I always have some standard ingredients on hand (tequila also has a tendency to disagree with me), like rum (which would have gone better with that juice, I'd think), whiskey, sour mix, ginger ale and vodka. Highballs, wiskey sours and the various collinses are excellent drinks.

Yeah, I don't often drink, so I don't have a well-stocked supply of ingredients. Just whatever's leftover from the last party, really.

What I get for taking a bartender training course. I just don't feel right if I haven't got a reasonably well stocked cabinet, even if I don't go through it very fast. I mean, it's not like the stuff goes bad.
