If I've eaten ~1050 calories in "counted" food today, it's okay to eat the last remnants of a bag of tortilla chips and not count them, right? ;) Who cares that the bag says that 9 chips contain 130 calories (eek).

Dance class was good. I thought I've been keeping in shape, but boy did some of my thigh muscles miss dance workouts. The class is starting on a new choreography, so I came back at a good time. It's called Egyptian Veil. The only problem is that the costumes for the dance are $130. I'm not required to buy one, but if I want to fit one to me (shorten straps, etc) I have to buy it. Right now I just have one picked out as "the one I want to wear" but if one of the other girls offers to buy it, well, I'm SOL and have to pick a new one. Unless someone wants to give me $130...?

I have a lot of reading to do tonight in different subjects. History of Science, E&M, P Math. The E&M will be the hardest I think, because it's stuff like line integrals and surface integrals that I know I've SEEN and therefore I should know, and I will beat myself up for not knowing it. The P Math is only about complex numbers at the moment (easy! for now...) and the HoS will hopefully just be interesting.

Everyone I know should mud on Three Kingdoms so that we have a way of chatting from the lab.

Can I handle 6-7 hours of sleep a night? I wonder if that's more in my REM cycle than 8 is. Certainly there are times when I wake up after ~6 hours of sleep and feel completely rested. I should start experimenting.

I am going to look for flutes on ebay. That was one instrument I never got to know enough.

I've been getting a lot of packages lately! Yesterday I had two books in the mail - my discrete math book, and one of my HoS books. Today my laptop case was waiting for me between my screen door and back door. Hopefully when I call tomorrow the computer store will say it's okay for my mom to come pick up my computer for me... They're only open during classes and work for me, and they're up near Edmond :(

I can't find my bathing suit. It's a blue tye-dyed (well, fake tye-dyed looking) bikini. I have no clue where it could be. My neat towel is missing too :( It's black with red and blue and green and yellow celestial objects (stars, crescent moons, etc) on it.

I've mused for half an hour, and reading work calls. Tschus!

1050 calories!

Hey, I just read a really great book, called "The Best Little Girl In The World." Not really relevant to your journal entry, I guess. Still, I think that you should seek an informed opinion on the topic of caloric intake.

Missing you!

I read a good article once (have no clue where) about sleep habits. It said to pick a certain time that you wake up every morning. Then the next night go to bed eight hours before you're supposed to wake up. Then the next night go to bed seven and a half hours before you have to wake up. Do that for a week, dropping half a hour at a time, till you find the combination you need. It helps to keep track in a little notebook what you're doing.

Unfortunately, I don't wake up at one certain time every morning ;) Depends on what time class starts, whether I want to exercise or not, whether I need to shower, etc...

In that case you would pick the earliest time you want to get up (say 6am) and then make that the time you get up everyday. You then use the extra time for [insert activity here] on the days you get extra. I've actually done this. My ideal sleeping time is around seven to seven and half hours. Not that I ever stick to it. It's either way too much or way too little.

Well maybe if I use plasma money to get one, you can fulfill that wish!
