I have just spent a very long time on the mud talking to another knight who's a commercial pilot. The things he has to tell me really make me think this is something I want to pursue.

I can at least get my private pilot's license, which I've wanted to do for a while, and then see if it's something I want to continue on. There are a couple places in Massachusetts where I can get the private. :)

Oh, and he says that it's a great idea to be a flight attendant while taking flying lessons. The pilots will be really cool (although they'll hit on me a lot, but that's okay), and it'll help me in the end if I have experience with the airlines.

Now, I just need to be hired...

maybe the laws are different in america but you have to have 20/20 vision to be a commercial pilot in australia....

is it okay because you might find some cute pilots, or okay because you won't let it bother you?

Corrected vision is fine here. As long as you reach 20/20 SOMEHOW... :)

Good luck:) It costs tens of thousands to get a pilot's licence in Oz, I hope it's cheaper there!

It's still very expensive here, around $4000 according to one website. This is why I need to be working while training...
