I am leaving in a few minutes for [livejournal.com profile] baronbrian and [livejournal.com profile] poisongal's wedding. Afterwards I will spend the night with my mom, and tomorrow my sister and I are driving up to Bartlesville to stay the night with our grandparents. The next morning the lot of us (grandparents, sister, me) are driving up to Kansas City to meet my father, his girlfriend, and hopefully my brother and his wife for some family time and, well, gambling (my sister just recently turned 21). I am completely aware that I will lose money. I'll just be doing it with people I more or less like. ;)

Anyway, we'll be driving back to Bartlesville on Tuesday and I will be back either Tuesday night or Wednesday sometime. Catch you later...

Regardless, have fun!!

Leo and Odie McReynolds. My grandpa was pretty high up at Phillips 66 for a while so they were known by a lot of people. That would be neat!

Oh wow, my grandmother worked for Phillips for a LONG time, and was a big member in the Jane Phillips Sorority. Next you'll be telling me your grandfather was a member of the Brotherhood of Elks... (???)

I take it then that you've been to Play-Pin Park?

Was that the kid-sized amusement park with all the rides? I remember that place but not its name. It had the only roller coaster I will ever ride...

My grandmother confirms knowledge of your grandparents. She says your grandma lives out in Shadow Lake, goes to Taos a lot, and is quite an artist. Whee!

Awesome! Yes for years Play-Pin Park had the only roller coaster I had ever been on. It was also the first place I ever went on a fairis wheel, bumber cars, a train, and it was even the first place I ever ate a snow cone! I went to Six-Flags when I was 10 but before that Play-Pin was my idea of a kick-ass amusement park. Good times.. good times...

What's your grandmothers name?
