Tonight's Buffy... seriously, DAMN. Wow. I didn't see that coming, although she had it coming.

I think that Buffy herself is the "Big Bad" for this season. Gotta wait <21 days to find out, I guess...

Great moments:
Willow in the hospital with Xander, trying to joke and not to cry
Andrew writing down "breakup sex" on the notepad
The ENTIRE onion blossom conversation
Xander walking in through the front door (tears started)
"I'm trying to see your point here, Buff, but it must be a little bit to my left - because I just don't."

Anyone who doesn't think this is quality needs... well, they need to think it is. ;)

I also think the highlight of the evening was Andrew's board writing, but over-all it was kind of a lame episode, and a lot of the acting and humor just seemed forced.

I do kind of agree with the rest of the scoobies that that was a weak battle plan (hey, their power source could be here. I don't know what it is, what it does, or what it looks like, but we should go in and ummm.... smash it), but it was at least worth a bit of research before they scoffed and turned their backs-- Especially since now that they've kicked Buffy out of her own house, it's not like they have anything better to do with their time.

Oh well... tvguide.com's got info for the next two episodes, and I'm kind of worried that they're taking the easy way out of this season's story arch. (Unstoppable evil eveil since the dawn of time... oh wait, here's a magical weapon that can kill it), but please oh please don't let this be another crappy "Adam" style showdown. (Repeat to myself: Must have faith in Joss Whedon.... Must have faith in Joss Whedon...)

Hey, keep the spoilers away, even tvguide.com's limited amount. I'm an untainted mind, here! ;)

See, I don't think that they were rejecting the idea of researching Buffy's plan. She just rejected THEIR desire to not rush headlong back into the vineyard. She was being completely bitchy and controlling, unwilling to consider anything except rigid obediance to her plan. I think that if she had been more open to their considerations, the vineyard plan would've been researched and possibly agreed on.

I disagree with the thought that they kicked her out, too. She said it herself, "I can't stay here and watch her lead you into some disaster." They weren't willing to put up with her bad leadership skills anymore, but they didn't want to kick her out. It was her own inability to stay and follow that led to her leaving.

I just wonder how messed up she's gotten... my theory is that she's actually the Big Bad for this finale. I'll just have to wait and see, I guess...
