WOW!!!

I have to apologize to reyjadan. He got me an AWESOME birthday present, something I really wanted, and I have procrastinated in setting it up. However, it is set up now.

What is it, you ask...? A wireless keyboard and mouse set. And he even got it in black to match my case/monitor/etc!

And WOW. This is SO nice. I am no longer tied to the desk. I can sit on my bed and type. In fact, I am now going to pop in a movie to fall asleep to or NOT, and I can control whether or not to turn it off without having to get out of bed!!

Perhaps I now need to redesign my room so that my bed is lined up with the desk. Hmm, I don't know if I have that much room.

Drawbacks: Getting used to a new keyboard (a few keys are in different places). Strange lag between typing and the words showing up - and I think I'm missing letters from typing too fast sometimes!

Both things I can get over. Just wow.
