While eating, watched the video of the 1997 Red River All-Star Marching Band (the Red River divides the states of Texas and Oklahoma, and therefore it was a bi-state marching band, for those who care but don't know...). Good times. I am in the video about 10 times :) I miss that phase of my life sometimes...

I wonder what Amanda Suenram is up to these days. She was on the roll for my history of English class this semester, but never showed up. I wonder if she dropped out finally...

Speaking of class, time to get workin'.

Aye, I know how you feel. I also miss those days of being a band nerd. It was fun....

Completely off the subject, but do you have any idea where Chris Sanders is these days? Was he shipped off to fight in Iraq?

Crazy you mention that since I dug up all my mp3's of DCI and was listening to them to stay awake yesterday. Hadn't actually listened to them all in like, months.

Seriously. It sucks that they have an age limit on that stuff, I want to do it! But I'm too old, now. Sigh.

He's in Georga. His unit was shipped out at the begining of the month, but he stayed behind because he was supposed to get out of the Army March first. Since they started mobilizing all the troops, they put a stop loss on him and he has to stay on for another year (at least). Right now he's sitting at home waiting for them to decide if they're going to send him over. I talked to him today and he said the longer they wait to send him, the less likely he is to go.

Hey man, it's good to hear from you again. How goes it?

Yah, it is getting kinda late to send him, considering it's all supposed to go down in 2 days. Next time you talk to Chris, tell him I said 'hey', and that I hope it all works out the way he wants it too.....

getting ready to fly to japan in uhhh... a week and a half to see nick... luckly i'm well grounded in non-reality, so this whole war thing hasn't fazed me yet. else i'd probably be slightly freaked out about traveling right now. i pretty much expect everything short of a fully cavity search at the airport.
