I'm standing on the balcony in a t-shirt and khakis, feeling just slightly cold but not so much that I shiver or anything, and yet I'm watching jawbreaker-sized hail ping off of the screen of my balcony and land on the ground below (I'm on the second floor). Doesn't hail mean cold?

Hehe. The cats want nothing to do with the outside world at the moment. ;)

Yes and no. It means it's cold enough in the clouds to create hail but for some reason (I forget why) it only happens when it's warm outside.

yeah, I don't know why, but at home we always got it in summer and it destroyed the cherry crops.
