Guess whose car won't start? :P
I actually found this out yesterday. Karen, goldbug, and I had completely loaded my car with things to take to goodwill and the consignment store, and were ready for hours of errands, and _______... nothing. We tried a jump with goldbug's car, but nothing happened. I was in a quite a rush to get things done, and it was already late, so Karen suggested that I get it towed to the lot of the mechanic (Ron's Automotive, rah rah rah!) overnight and she'd take me there in the morning to tell them what was up. Well, of course I forgot until midnight. So I decided to wake up at 7am and get it towed then instead. Hopefully Karen can still give me a ride home from Ron's.
My insurance company rocks, they pay all the towing fees. Of course, that might affect the towing company they use, since no one will be here for a good 45 minutes they say.
What was neat was that when the phone was first answered, I thought I was talking to a Speak-N-Spell (remember those?). It was this guy who had a very very heavy eastern European accent, and therefore to talk clearly, enunciated every syllable very carefully and slowly. At first I thought it would annoy me, but he ended up being VERY cool. That and his name was Vino, which is Italian for wine. ;)
So now, I get dressed. And wait. And hope I'm not late for class.
Well, and hope my car's okay, can be fixed by tonight (work), and doesn't cost too much :P
