goldbug's recent comment made me realize I haven't posted in a while ;)
On Thursday, I went to work and ended up having to stay there until 4pm (usually I'm out by 1) because, short story, Adriana needed me to stay. The plan was for me to go to Jason's directly after work, so that left me driving from a suburb north of Boston through Boston to a suburb south of Boston at 4pm. Can anyone guess what happened? That's right, the trip took me 2.5 hours. Between 4:30 and 5:30 I think I travelled 4 miles. Ugh. I'm never doing that again. Seriously, I never am, but I wouldn't if I had the chance.
Anyway, Jason's mom's friend and her family were coming to visit, and Jason got permission to leave the house until they left. ;) Yes, they really were THAT bad. We stuck around for dinner but left asap.
So yesterday we hung out at home, took Adriana to the mall (she got her new wheelchair, a foldable manual one, so we could get it and her in my car) (it in the trunk, her in the front seat!), ate some pasta, watched Avengers, etc. Twas a good day. :)
[Editor's note: Jason's being a dork.]
Today the plans are... well, they were to have a picnic, but it's almost completely clouded over outside, so dunno. First things first, though... pancakes.
'Til later...
