halfway point
10 July 2002 14:53So I had my mid-summer fitness assessment today. To save time, we didn't weigh me (I keep track of that on my own) or do another cardiovascular test (I don't need encouragement in that direction). However, many measurements were done, and a strength and a flexibility test, and comparisons were made to my results on June 7th.
Pushups (the strength test) went from 17 to 22. I'm now almost at the average range.
The stretch test showed much improvement, too, stretching over 4 inches further than I did before. I don't feel like explaining the test, but that was good.
As for measurements (all of these are losses, of course!):
abdomen - no change
waist - 1.25"
hip - .75"
thigh - 1.75" (!)
tricep - .5"
calf - no change
chest - no change
The measurements could be slightly skewed by the exactly placement of the measuring tape, of course, but overall they're nice numbers.
Now, I go eat. *grin*
