favoring my left arm

juldeaI told this to the Tuesday night D&D group, but I feel it is amusing enough to share with the rest of you, too.
Since I've been walking around town and taking the T for the past couple days with my left arm always hanging limply at my side, I've been constantly aware that I am projecting to any samurai/ninja/swordsmen/fighers/whatnot that I am vulnerable from the left. I'm not at all worried about, say, some random street gang deciding to rape me. I am totally on guard, however, for someone from a fantasy novel or gaming setting to be sizing me up for combat and notice that I am, in the terminology they would use, favoring my left arm.
I have a very active imagination. :)
