I'm back.

Actually, we got back at 9:30, so I've been here for a while. I'm sure it's hard for many of you to imagine that I came home and didn't get online for several hours, but I'm serious!

I'm also very, very sleepy. It sucks because I have to get up for work tomorrow.

Today I walked up 5th Ave, into FAO Schwartz, through Central Park, to the Met, browsed the gift shop, walked more through Central Park, walked past Rockefeller Center and the Radio City Music Hall, saw a street corner full of Christian protestors, realized that they were protesting the gay pride rally happening right behind them, listened to the... interesting-ness of that for a bit, bought a present for my sister (NOT at the rally... further down the street!), returned to Adriana's house, drove home...

More interesting things will come later, when I'm more rested. Pictures, too.

Ahhh. The "Adriana's house" in this post is actually her parents' house, and "home" is the apartment the two of us share. Sorry for confusion :)

I got my sister a Chinese name-painting. They write her name in english, but they use animals to make the letters (like D is an upright plant with a dolphin curled around it) and it's hand-painted. I watched it get done. I got one for myself, too. I'll take pictures and show off. :)
