17 July 2004 23:19Jul 14 - A Texas couple wearing anti-Bush t-shirts was handcuffed and removed from a Fourth of July Bush-Cheney campaign rally in Charleston, West Virginia.
The Bush speech, given after the two, Nicole and Jeff Rank, were arrested, included a proclamation that "on this Fourth of July, we confirm our love of freedom, the freedom for people to speak their minds, the freedom for people to worship as they so choose." The president added, "Free thought, free expression, that’s what we believe."
