The last time I did laundry was Oct. 28th or 29th. Meaning it's been 5.5 weeks. For me, this results in $20.25 worth of laundry done tonight. Three 55lb "super giant" washing machines' worth. It took me about an hour and a half to fold, sort, hang, etc etc.

This makes me hate the world. Recommended link to anyone who doesn't think "gay" is a disgusting word.

Secondly, this cheered me up. It's a 30 second clip of an a capella group doing "One Song Glory" from Rent. If you're a fan of Rent, check that clip out. 477kb.

It's snowing! Heavily! Two hours ago when I got home from the laundromat, the ground was clear and there were a few flakes visibly falling. I just looked out the window, and the ground is covered in white. My first big Massachusetts storm!

"Heavy snow will fall Friday night into Sunday in southern and central New England. Total snowfall in these areas will average 6-12 inches with over a foot in parts. In addition, increasingly strong winds will produce considerable blowing and drifting across the region Saturday. The combination of heavy snowfall and strong winds will result in blizzard conditions throughout New England Saturday into Sunday."

Woot.

I might even go out and play in it. :)

new LJ stuff

I uploaded a new LJ photo for the ... darker side of things. This is Elizabeth Jackson, a possible victim of Jack the Ripper. It's an incredibly freaky photo.

So, I finally got around to overriding a few style codes in LJ. If you look at my main page you'll notice I have a new color scheme and background, plus a cute little theme going with the title and comment links. Of course, these things I change will never be viewable to everyone else, seeing as no one goes to individual pages; we all read our respective friends' pages instead.
