Kevin wanted me to mention that he is [livejournal.com profile] isaiahblake on Livejournal, with the unstated expectation that people will befriend him and therefore inspire him to post.

So there.

In other news, I'm now caught up on Livejournal. It only took me what, 10 hours?

I know I'm prone to fits of depression if I don't do constructive things, I know I'm about to ruin a lot of things in my life if I don't act quickly on a few projects, I know my emotions are kinda whacked at the moment anyway, and yet I spend an entire day doing nothing.

I mean, I caught up on Livejournal, but in the grand scheme of things...

Tomorrow I should get up early, clean parts of the house, go to the gym, write and mail a few important things, make important phone calls, and work on my papers.

This is the second morning in a row that Pixel has awakened me by sitting on the bed next to my head and purring loudly. I would really like to think that it's more than coincidence; that she's ensuring I don't wake up to an empty bed and feel sad. It's incredibly nice of her, but I think I'm okay, really. :)

Off to my day of doing things (gasp).

Which Annoying B-list Celebrity Are You?

Cowboy Bebop - Faye
You are FAYE - No one tells YOU what to do! Money rules your life (by chance and by choice) and you only hang around with those other guys because it's convenient. The universe is your oyster... at least it SHOULD be, dammit!

What anime gun-toting hooligan are you?

I just walked the .5 mile walk from the grocery store to home in head-on 23 mph winds carrying a 37 lb backpack full of groceries and a combined 14 lbs in my hands. That's 51 lbs, folks.

(Alternately: .8 km walk, 37 kph winds, <17 kg backpack, >6 kg sacks, 23 kg total.)

Probably not at all impressive to anyone who's done backpacking/camping seriously, but it's impressive for me. Especially since I took the time to step on the scale (3 different times!) when I got home instead of dropping everything immediately.

I need a backrub. I'm making do with the last Dr. Pepper. It's an event to remember, actually. I don't generally buy soda for myself and Dr. Pepper is hard to find in stores around here, so I don't know when I'll have my next one. *savors the moment*

...and it's gone. Goodbye, sweet Dr. Pepper.

I really crave Chinese for lunch, but I just spent $85 on groceries...

I forgot to mention that it was $85 worth of groceries ($117 Aus, currently) and that was after saving $17 ($23) because I AM A SHOPPING GENIUS.

Somehow while I wasn't looking, I got a bunch more LJ friends than I had before. Sorry to people I haven't befriended back, I've been gone. Ack, this is going to take a bit to figure out.
