VICTORY!

I did it!

My bike has new, inflated tire tubes, AND I adjusted the brakes! And I didn't break anything!

I'm dripping with sweat, however. I never really understood humidity until now. I'm not that HOT, but I'm dripping. Pools in my glasses. It's really interesting.

I met another Boston mudder, Justin-who-plays-Omni, today. He took me to Target to get the bike tubes.

Um, that was supposed to be posted about, oh, 4pm.

Since then I've ridden (rode?) my bike to the grocery store for groceries, watched Moulin Rouge and Cast a Deadly Spell, and had leftover pizza and a salad. And sat around with Jim talking. And now I'm sleepy.

I've had the urge to sing - like really belt stuff out - the past few days. Too bad Jim's asleep right now.

What made me cry is the almost immediate existence of a "wesley" emote on 3k. Some examples of what it outputs:

Until 10 minutes ago, I had spent a total of 10-15 minutes at the computer for today.

My room is clean. My bed is even made - a once-in-a-month (if that) experience.

Tomorrow is a special boost day on 3k. In order to receive all the perks I have to be logged in at 10am. That means I'm getting up at 8, taking a shower, going to breakfast with Jim, and we will be back and at our respective computers ready to go at a few minutes before 10. :) I plan on getting guild level 70 tomorrow with the boosts. And spending the whole day online. Which is part of the reason I kept myself otherwise occupied yesterday.

Last night I indoctrinated Jim with Cast a Deadly Spell. Now he just needs to see Brazil and Secretary to have the complete quartet (I've already shown him Donnie Darko).
