I'm so glad that I bought galoshes at Walmart earlier this year.

See you after class...

Interesting night. First I was supposed to work a 10-hour shift (=$100-150, depending on tips). Then, I had to give that up because Emily (sister-in-law) wanted to have a big Christmas dinner tonight for the whole family and I couldn't get rescheduled. THEN, the weather held up my brother's plane from returning (he's in the Navy, and his squadron is the last to return for the holidays), so Emily cancelled. So instead of making money or not making money, I went out and farking SPENT it. Finally went Christmas shopping, and actually managed to get things for all the relatives. Hooray for deeper in debt! I should be getting $100 from grandma, which will make me almost break even on Christmas... perhaps I will have to return another gift or two to break even. It sucks that I have to think about it that way, but oh well...

This comic is funny today even if you don't know the backstory.
Make a statement about airline security, print this out. I don't feel quite that rabid about it, although as more stories trickle in (like [livejournal.com profile] ratbastrd's)...
