It's very annoying while balancing checkbooks/cash accounts to be off by 15 cents. Supposedly the coin in my pocket should be a quarter, but it's a dime. Hrm. Did I lend anyone 15 cents recently?

However, 15 cents is a lot better than the $7+ I was off by before I remembered the Wendy's I ate on Wednesday night and the beer I drank last night.

It's very hard to keep a budget when you often deal with cash.

Did you know we're halfway through the fall semester already? We just finished week 8 of 16. Wow.

I just found out that I have three finals scheduled for Wednesday of finals week. Which means I get to move one of them. Does anyone know if there's a rule saying which one I move? Because changing E&M from an 8am final to something else would be NICE.

So now, it's scheduling next semester time. I have 15 hours left. All history/literature/capstone. I think I might like to take an intersession class to get rid of three of those hours, so I have two options there:

Classical Culture 3033, Latin Literature in English Translation, with Stephen Wagner.

History 3840, The Samurai in Fact and Fiction, with Alan Atkinson.

So one of those would wipe out a literature requirement, the other a history requirement. I'm not allowed to take both, plus I need 12 hours in the spring to get my scholarship.

It would be four hours a day during the holidays, but... I could take 12 hours during the spring instead of 15... and maybe I could even take one of those spring classes online, reducing the amount of time I have to spend on campus. And that would be nice.

Any suggestions/comments? I know that [livejournal.com profile] nemoalia is taking the Lat. Lit. in Engl. Trans. class right now, so certainly I will be seeking her out if she doesn't read this first. She might even have this professor, and in that case, I've heard some good things from her about him. ;)
