Argh. Just found out that Kate (as in, the one living in my room in Oklahoma while I'm away) is leaving at the end of July. Not mid-August, when I'm returning. Why oh why do I always assume too much? I should've asked her about that way back at the beginning.

Now, amidst all the financial crises I'm having, I have to figure out how to pay half of August's rent here and all of August's rent in Oklahoma. =P

Unless someone wants a room for about 20 days for $107.

So far, today has been a total waste of being awake.

What sucks is that now I'm in a very bad mood, which will inhibit my ability (or desire) to do things that would either put me in a good mood or would be productive.

Money woes are only slightly related.

settling in

I've been in Boston for 7.5 weeks.
I've been living with Adriana for 4.5 weeks.
I've been living in this particular apartment for 2.5 weeks.

And finally, I'm completely unpacked, with a decorated room.

Do you want pictures?

It's very hard to find a way to store my DDR pad flat (flatly?). Any ideas?

Oh, hmm. I still haven't put up NYC pictures.

Taking a nap did wonders for my mood. And hooking my hands-free headset to my cell phone, hanging the phone on my waistband, and talking at Jason while cleaning my room helped that happen, too.

I am very much enjoying this CD I borrowed from the library.

• Julia is our keeper, she is busy with RL on the weekends.


• Julia is working with our young riding horses.


• Julia is in 4-H because her friend Brittney (a club member) recommended it to her.


• Julia is quick to point out there is less and less really good (well marbled and aged) beef to be found.


• Julia dons safety goggles and takes up a blowtorch for this hot dessert show.

That last one doesn't start with "Julia is", but I found it on the same page as the one before it and just had to add it.
