Book thrall is really funny. I can say this, being in the midst of it right now.

Although I fell asleep reading this book (and it was tough to convince myself to stop reading and to put it down), I awoke not thinking about it. I got online and began to chat with Rachel. As the obvious fact that Rachel has a baby wormed into the short-term memory corners of my mind, I thought about how the main character in my book has a baby that was stolen. I remember reading last night about how the mother of the baby went psycho, and then it was revealed that her mind was being controlled by the "bad guy" (actually a girl). Anyway, as these thoughts come up, the thrall overcomes me, and now I'm fighting to sit here and type at you about it and not dive back onto my bed to find out what happens next.

I have now begun my online course. Considering I could've started June 4, when summer school began (right?), and as far as I can tell one guy has already finished the course, it's a good thing for me to have started. Oh, and I have to have everything done by the 29th.

I think I should begin some vigorous willpower-assertion, and alternate my classes, doing one lesson a night. As long as I make it a habit and don't fall out of it, it should work.

It seems like this summer is to be a big time for me to start taking charge of things in my life. If I can
  1. get these summer school classes, set at my own pace, done
  2. control my finances to no longer be in debt or at least to stop getting deeper into debt
  3. get a grip on being healthy through regular gym attendence and proper eating
I will be a very accomplished person. Or at least I will feel like it. And that would be a very good thing to feel before jumping back into school after taking time off.

So tomorrow sometime, I will do a nutrition lesson.
