I tried to update earlier, but LJ told me it was in read-only mode.

After a horrendous weekend of mishaps and misunderstandings, Adriana and I are moved into our new apartment and (as of 2 hours ago) have internet connection.

When I have more energy, I will post about all the crappiness that happened.

Since the last time I attempted to update, I pulled down the entire windowshade rod onto my head. That hurt a lot.

This room is much nicer than the other. Soft, clean carpet. I will take pictures and such when it is all settled.

I am so exhausted.

Well, once again I'm in Brockton, my clothing and bedsheets in various stages of cleanliness. Jason's parents are wonderful for letting me do my laundry here for no fee. Considering their washer and dryer are larger than those at the apartment, and the apartment ones cost $1.25 and $1.00 each, respectively. Whether or not the price in gas is comparible has yet to be determined.

I feel wordy... I feel like spitting out some witty prose that will leave everyone breathless. I'm not sure I have it in me, though. I figure I will just type about a few recent happenings (I'll try to keep it short) and see what happens.

The great hair escapades of the weekend fizzled halfway through with the discovery that my hair just does not want to be bleached. The job was simple: bleach the ends, then dye green. [Once fall rolls around, if I need to have normal-colored hair for any reason, I can chop off the ends for short hair again] Well, one bleach job left me with orange tips. I threw caution to the wind and tried another, and have now achieved a nice gold color. Not wanting my hair to melt off my head, I stopped at that point and am using good thick conditioners. Jason and Adriana both think my hair looks very neat at the moment, so I'm not too upset over the disruption of my plans. Maybe in another week or so I will try one more application of bleach in attempts to get light blonde. Supposedly it's very risky to put blue or green dye on hair that is not extremely light; it comes out looking dingy and dirty, which I definitely don't want.

Oh, I have Raw Gorgeous Green dye, found at your local Hot Topic.

A personality storm of disasterous proportions seems to have been dissipated by the masterful persuasion of my wonderful roommate. This is quite a nasty lengthy story, so here's a cut for sanity's sake. )

I just finished a post that took 45 minutes to write.

Yes, there was a cut.

I hit submit, and slowly IE crawled to an error page. I hit back, and LJ told me that it was in "read-only mode" and therefore wouldn't load the update page.

I lost it ALL.

Well, I guess you don't have to hear about my soap opera life. But now I feel like screaming expletives.
