Today I set up my computer in Jason's room.

For Penny: right as I was typing that sentence, Jason walked by and said, "You have a loud computer!" I just started laughing, and he was boggled until I explained your dislike of the fan noise.

Anyway... now my computer is set up, alhtough there's no way to get it net access. Jason's cablemodem is the only cable in the room, and I don't have a way to connect that to my computer. No one has a dialup, and there's not a close phone line. So, my computer is not net-friendly. I caught up on my budget and uploaded several pictures of his cats, though, and hopefully later tonight or tomorrow I will post those cat pictures for your viewing pleasure :)

Speaking of cats... Jason and I are downstairs this morning, snuggling on the sofa-bed (I went down there to wake him up). Whiskers was near the end of the bed, on the floor. He kept making funny noises, cleaning himself and such. All of the sudden, there was a cardboard crash and I looked up to see him atop my box of sewing projects, digging in. I was curious, but not concerned... he's got no nails. He roots around in there for a while and finally jumps off, but I have returned my attention to snuggling by that time. :)

When Jason and I finally get up, I notice a pair of familiar black fuzzy gloves with colored snowflakes now lying on the ground, and the lightbulb goes off. I laugh and love up the cat for being so smart!

Backstory: Rachel left behind that pair of gloves when she moved, and for some reason Pixel thought they were the best toy. Pixel thought they were even better when I stuffed them with catnip! However, because they were open at the ends, the catnip wouldn't stay in, so the gloves went into the sewing projects box to be turned into real catnip toys.

There was still a lot of catnip left stuck in the fingertips and such, and so far both cats have had a great deal of fun with them. When I originally picked them up after Whiskers having his way, they were literally damp with cat saliva (ew). I turned them completely inside-out to get all the catnip on the OUTside and gave one to each cat. :)

Jason says that the first time Whiskers got a catnip toy, he got so 'high' that he started attacking the kitchen table. Heehee.

So, yeah. Pictures soon, I hope...!
