You labratory studies ... show that you do indeed have Graves' eye disease. Tyroid stimulating immunoglobulins which are fairly specific for Graves' disease were significantly elevated 190%. The normal range is less than 130%. Your actual biochemical thyroid studies were normal however ... a serum TSH was 0.76 (normal 0.4 - 5.50), a free T4 was normal at 1.0 (normal 0.8 - 1.8) and a free T3 was normal at 317 (normal 230 - 420).

Well, I suppose that's that for a while. He suggests I get a serum TSH (the cheap test) done twice a year until my thyroid starts whacking out... which he seems positive will happen... so OK. I'm glad I don't actually have to go back to him, I didn't like him that much. =P

So that's that for a while...whee?
