I got here at 9, an hour later than the message says. I think I will change it to say the help line opens at 9, and then still try to be here at 8. Or something.

Anyway, there were already 5 messages because there were 2 left after hours last night. One of them was Jillian Sims, who will only talk to me, probably because I have an infinite well of patience. I think her call took an hour.

So yeah. I just now got through all the messages (except for one that is busy). 15 people had to leave messages. Blegh. Now the call forwarding is off, and I just got a call about "what is a nonzero digit". Holy jesus this job is horrible sometimes.

I'm hungry, but it's almost time to leave.

This is the second time that a spring roll from the vegetarian bin at Pad Thai turned out to have meat in it. Open yours before you bite and check before you eat... I wouldn't want anyone to get sick. :(

First day at the computer lab so far this year. Working, that is.

Oh! My experiment worked wonderfully. I left Saxon at 2, drove him, got there about 2:10, immediately set out on foot for Pad Thai, got my food to go, and walked to the lab. Got here right at 2:30. Good deal.

Now I have to figure out if I want to dork, read, or be bad and sleep.
