Well, for the few people who voted that I should go to be early last night, sorry. Unless you meant "early in the morning" by early. I stayed up until 3, slept until 5, went back to bed again at 6:30, and woke up at 8:00. I got food cooked and my german paper written. I also got to talk to Jason (I called him; his net conn had died), so I have satisfied the majority. ;)
This of course means that I am a pretty sleepy girl right now. But I am not a sad-sleepy girl. I did rather solid on the discrete exam (since then I know of two particular mistakes I made, but I'm not sure how drastic those mistakes are) and I did have a german paper to turn in... although I think it is an obviously-written-at-4am paper. It's not an A paper, but it's a paper (I'm proud of this sentence).
Today I ate my first goldbug-provided free 6" subway sandwich (with purchase of a medium drink). It was very good.
Oh! Today I am also wearing another pair of never-fit-before-but-fit-now pants! They are one of the pairs I got on my garage-saleing-spree a few months ago when I started losing weight. They are khaki carpenter pants... not denim, but something nice and denim-like and lightweight. I like them.
In even more good news... Since the IT people here at Saxon can't figure out why my silly mac isn't connecting to the internet anymore (something must've just fried somehow), they're setting me up with a new computer! And it will be a PC! I've had enough of macs :) Now I will be able to install all sorts of programs I am uber-familiar with on it (including zMud.. muah). I am happy!
I used VNC to update my wishlist. I found out that writing pages in Netscape composer really adds a lot of crappy unnecessary html code. Maybe I should hire Waylon to teach me some html.
That reminds me, ciole, I have an old html book of yours that I borrowed from Karen over a year ago. I will try and get it back to you if you want it back.
My RAM still hasn't arrived. Hopefully today!
The IT department is having a computer equipment sale... Shall I go tempt myself?
Actually I think I will try to take a nap now so that I will be able to attend band practice tonight and have some kind of input. Since I can't come on Friday it's probably a good idea to be there tonight. Hopefully there won't be many calls ;)
