Our living room is large enough to exercise in, but there's a large (4 foot square) "coffee table" (it's not really a coffee table, but I can't think of what to call it) right in the middle. It's got two levels, is covered in stuff, has a heavy glass panel in the top surface. I have twice before moved it on my own out of the way, with much stress and strain.

However, when I did it today, I lifted wrong. Y'know, how they always tell you to lift with your legs? I didn't, because it's too low. I bent at the waist and tried that way. And completely fucked up my back.

Of course, because I was in a bad mood anyway, I went ahead and exercised. It hurt but it didn't hurt THAT bad. So I kept going. It didn't stop hurting. Eventually I was done and I sat down. And when I tried to stand back up... I couldn't.

I'm in extreme pain. I can't stand up straight at all. I walk like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons, only my bend is at my waist instead of my upper back. I only made it from the couch to the computer because I took a tylenol 3 (with codeine) about 2 hours ago - and that still hasn't enabled me to stand up straight, or really stopped the pain.

I am in a complete horrible mood. I also lost the ball on the top of my favorite navel ring. A whole bunch of other stuff is bothering me. It's a horribly dreary icky day outside. BLAH.
