I woke up at 8:30 to attend a 9:15 step aerobics class that KICKED MY ASS and I LIKED IT. It was really advanced, the combinations stumped me at times (well it has been a while), and when we stopped to check our heart rates mine was at 186/min (over 90% of my max.... oops). I slowed it down after that. But WOW. I hope that the same combinations aren't used every week by this lady and that she makes up new ones each week. :)
I came home, showered, ate lunch, and then Jim and I went to get haircuts. I have no more blonde. :( And in order to get all of the blonde, my hair came out shorter than I wanted it. So I'm back to looking like a dyke. *sigh*
Then we went in Home Depot and bought some plywood and 2x4s... and into first Michael's Craft and then Joann Fabrics when Michael's didn't have any fabric (bog). When we returned home, I rested for a while and then proceeded to make myself a table. :) I nailed the 2x4s into the plywood for legs, then wrapped the plywood top with purple corduroy and used tiny nails to hold that down. It's going to be my sewing table. :) *flex*
Hmm, after that we went to Boston Market for dinner, then did laundry. After laundry I began to clean my room up, but stopped when Law & Order came on at 10. :) We watched that, had some ice cream, and then I resumed cleaning my room. I finally, finally have clothes put away in reasonable places now. The next step is to decorate - y'know, posters, pictures, etc. I need to find out if I'm allowed to put nails in my wall.
I finished that and got ready for bed, at which point I realized I hadn't been online all day long and I wanted to log on and read and post. So I did :)
Sometimes I feel weird using my journal for simply a record of the day's events. My life should be more exciting than that, or something. Or I should at least try to pretend it is ;)
Here's something exciting/interesting: I'm invited to Jim's family's annual "camporee". It's 3-4 days of camping in Pennsylvania on his uncle's property... but really camping. The kind with no electricity or hot water. I've never done that before. And I don't have any equipment... well I have one of those chairs that folds up and fits in a bag. And that's about it, heh.
It would mean leaving this Friday and returning the next Monday or Tuesday. Do I want to go, and give up hope that otherwise I'll get something done at home during that time? Or should I stay here while Jim leaves, and try to do things while stuck at home alone? *ponder*
It's no fun when your small suitcase is mildly full of "clothes that fit but are for different weather conditions" and your large suitcase is STUFFED FULL of "clothes that don't fit at all". :P But we're dealing with that, aren't we.
Last night I only slept from 4:30 to 8:30. How I'm still up now and not feeling sleepy is beyond my comprehension.
