wow!!

It took me a while to figure out what was weird with me using the computer, and then I realized - I'm using the scroll button on my mouse!! For some reason, it never worked with the laptop.

Current problems with the computer:

1) floppy drive not working
2) lcd power light not working (it's actually backwards - the light comes on when the power is OFF. boggle)
3) no driver for Randen's old sound card
4) no windows xp

It is very late. I have a full day tomorrow, too. Work, thai food, root canal, laptop pickup, more work. Computer playing. Wheebop.

Must... not... install... DAOC...

be sure to install all updates before worrying about drivers not being found; that problem often fixes itself.

the power light thing is buggy as hell... I have no idea. I guess if it's not hurting anyone...?

The problem is I'm running WinXP beta and there are no XP drivers for this particular sound card, since it's pretty old.

I had a win xp beta that I really didn't like; it was extremely unstable. I wish you much better luck than I had.

lights are always dumb on computers. my cdrom light blinks all the time!

daoc is evil. i'm trying to stay away from it...day 2 so far... :P
