I ended up working at Papa John's last night from midnight to 4:30am - yeah, right in the snow. It was my decision to do so, I went into the store to get Karen and Robert some pizza and asked Dale if he wanted me to come in at midnight. I knew that the weather would be bad, and that means better tips. ;) And sure enough... $44 for that 4.5 hours. It was crazy. Something about snow makes people want to eat pizza, I guess. And wait over an hour to get it.

I haven't been updating a lot lately. I guess I binge and purge. ;)

I LOVED to deliver in the snow. You could quote what ever time suited your fancy and the customer was still happy when you showed up. And you feel like the MAN (or woman) when you tromp up that walk way with pizza in hand. Kinda a triumph over nature thing.

Especially if you exaggerate how carefully you're walking on the snow andor iced walkway, making them realize just how difficult it is to be working as you are at the moment. ;)
