I got paid to shop! Well, kind of. I would have come home with more money if I hadn't shopped, but I ended up not spending any money at all. Confused? I went to the consignment store on Main St., shopped for a bit and picked out 2 shirts (which added up to $9 on the tags), then went to the front to see if I had any money to pick up. Turns out one of the shirts was half price, so they cost (after tax) $6.48, and the store owed me $6.50, so I got to go home with 2 whole cents!! And 2 new shirts. Yay, me.

I got a lot of blood taken out today. Maybe after all these stupid tests someone will be able to say something solid about my endocrine health. =P

I'm really sleepy lately. Like now...

endocrines being hormones? like if your progesterone is high, that might be causing your problems?

did you ever think of going off depo and seeing if that helps? it has depression as a possible side effect, right?

Yup, the endocrine system... hormones that deal with metabolism, basically.

All my 'symptoms' were existant before I was put onto Depo - always had the eyes, and the cold, and the sleepy. So as far as I know, they're not connected. The ovaries are indeed part of the endocrine system, but so is the thyroid, which everyone thinks is the main culprit... None of the doctors I have talked to, including the endocrinologist today, have done so much as grunt about the Depo-Provera, so they at least don't think it's a problem...

I suppose that if nothing else works, going off that would be worth a try. But you bugged me about the room temperature long before I started getting it!

i was just thinking of the depression -- the reason you went to the doctor in the first place.

True, Depo tends to cause that, but I don't think it's been worse than it was before. =P

Depo also supposedly causes weight gain, and I didn't experience any of that over the first year, and have lost weight through the second.
