So as I was going through those boxes, cleaning my room, I found my old binder from high school physics. I was in love with my teacher, Mr. Mathis. He was really cool, and I wrote down a lot of quotes and funny things in my notes that he said. Some of them I guess were in context but still amusing now, so I will post all that I found:

"It's like mixing cement in a wheelbarrow with a hoe. You don't leave the hoe just sitting there."

"The Electron Freedom Concert, featuring Rage Against the Conductor"

"1 light-while: the distance that light has traveled in a while"

"Never fly an iron spaceship near a neutron star, and if you do, don't use a compass to try to leave."

And this conversation that I seem to have copied down word for word:
Mr. Mathis: If you remember, Vd is the drift velocity (etc etc)"
Tom: We learned about VDs in "On Your Own".
Mr. Mathis: I'll bet they didn't call it drift velocity, though.
Tom: I think they called it drip velocity.
-class moans, groans, and threatens Tom-

I'm very happy to have found this stuff. I need to write Mr. Mathis a letter (and seduce him). Supposedly, I'm one of the only students he has given the address to his PRIVATE summer cabin. Hmmm...

He's almost definitely gay though. Sigh.
