I was just looking through my file folder at cat information, to see when Pixel and Matrix would need their shots next and possibly have some clue as to how much they would cost (I know that Pixel needs her shots now, but I don't remember which she needs renewed besides rabies... so as for the cost thing, I'm just going to call tomorrow and ask), and I found the little booklet that I got with Matrix when I adopted her from the nice boy at Saxon. I actually looked into it this time, at the paperwork from when he adopted her from the Humane Society in Yukon, and it turns out that her original name was Kathie Lee.

Blegh. Ugh. I'm so glad she's not Kathie Lee anymore. Matrix. That is her name.

On a good note, the little info card that came with her from the humane society says, "Very affectionate", underlined, and also, "Would be okay with younger children & other cats - very nice!" :) My baby is wonderful. Also, I now know that she was born in March of 99!! So she's almost 3!! Half a year older than Pixel.

She got all her shots in March '01, too. So I at least have until March to save for her shots to be renewed. I might take her in when Pixel gets her shots, though, just for a general checkup. It would be nice to know that she is healthy and to know how much she weighs!!

I really should be in bed. Ick.

Kathie Lee?!?!

Does that make the other cat Frank Gifford?

Hmm... the other cat is also female, is smaller, and a lot bitchier. I would rather believe that Pixel is Kathie Lee's illicit lesbian lover.

what kind of demented person names a cat kathie lee??

i'm glad she has a much more appropriate name now, and surely a more appropriate home, if the names are any judge.

Ummm... above comment is a suggestion for a more appropriate name for small, bitchy, illicit lesbian lover cat. I have no idea whether or not Ms. Bernhard would name a cat Kathie Lee.

Kathie Lee?

That gets four involuntary shudders, and a cold sweat.

Francesca Gifford then...

I DO find it hard to believe that someone would saddle an unfortunate and helpless little animal with the name Kathie Lee. And this was a guy?? Not a straight one, i presume...

Hahaha....that's just such a funny image, calling my cat Sandra Berhard, that I have to do it.

Well, the gentlman I adopted her from called her "Catlyn", so I assume Kathie Lee was the name given to her at the Humane Society, which I don't think is humane at all. While Catlyn is boring, it's sure a lot better than K.L.

It might be an idea to get them both done at the same time. Even if it is more expensive in one go, at least it's easier to remember. Besides, if they don't go outside, they're not at much risk so you can put it off for a month or 2 if you have to.

I don't think it'll be tough to remember if I make the appointment for the other cat at the first cat's appointment. And since I've already made that...

Plus, I only have one cat carrier. Difficult to get two of them there at once.

Hehe, I've thought about joining communities, but I have enough time keeping current on my friends' page with so many post-happy friends. Maybe I'll check out communities someday when I'm bored at work though. :)

That is a point, vets usually give discounts for getting 2 done at the same time is all :)
