my long dream last night
I'll actually wait on this one, as it's REALLY long, I just got done telling it at the dinner party, and I want to go to bed sometime soon. Heh. Plus, too much posting at once will flood your friends' pages... heh...


the change of my weight-loss plan/life schedule
Well, out of the past 3 weeks of my life, the first two were spent attempting to exercise almost daily and eat a breakfast of applesauce or yogurt, a large pad thai lunch, and almost nothing for dinner. The second week of that I actually went to aerobics for 6 days of the week. I was confused, because I wasn't losing weight. I went to Avi's party on Saturday, and weirdly enough lost weight the next morning. Then I got ill, and skipped a few days of aerobics, and since then have been eating more at night - like actual food values. I have been to aerobics today, and I went on Wednesday. And - I'm losing weight. So, basically, I think I was overdoing it. Eating too little and doing too much. After all, you do have to have a certain amount of calories each day to function normally. So now I've decided just to do aerobics on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (mainly because those are the days my favorite instructors teach!), and definitely attempt to eat more at night. More about that below.

As well as the change in aerobics classes... well, I mean, I got hired at Papa John's, so that will affect my schedule. I officially decided that I will start work at Saxon at 9 in the mornings instead of 8, as it is probably impossible for me to get to bed earlier than midnight most nights, and I want to get almost 8 hours of sleep a night. Sinus is on Sundays... I'm going to be very busy.


my enjoyment of aerobics tonight
As an extension of my discussion about doing aerobics a bit less - I went tonight and had such a great time. I think I was a bit too dehydrated, but I managed to do high-intensity levels for most of the workout, and didn't feel like I was overdoing it or hurting myself, as I had during the almost-every-day aerobics. Afterwards, I was invigorated, not tired. Maybe partially it was the instructor, who I like a lot, but also it's just that I'm doing just enough work and not too much. :)


new goals for money/budgeting
Well, I have a new job now. This means it's time to get hardcore about paying off debts - I am in debt to my credit card company, car loan, and goldbug... and there are a lot of things in the near future that I need to make sure to budget for. I need a dentist's appointment, will soon need an optomologist appointment (just a simple new contacts thing), my cats need shots, I might owe taxes, there's rent and insurance each month.... So I'm wondering what the best way is to keep track of how much I need to save for what each month. Like, should I put a certain percentage of each paycheck towards my credit card payment? Certainly I have a pretty good system of each month, making a timeline using when my paychecks come in and about how much I get for them, and when my bills are due and when I pay them. This helps me know that I can't blow money until after the 22nd, or whatever.

So far I have a short list of "things to need money for soon" up on my whiteboard, but doing everything up there would be difficult as it is quite high up. Excel will probably be what I use.


how much the cats love each other!!
This is so great!!!! Earlier goldbug and I were chilling in the living room with the cats. The cats started to play fight and roll around on the living room floor. I was talking to goldbug and looked down, and saw that Matrix was licking Pixel!! She was giving her a bath!!! I exclaimed a lot about how much I loved them and they loved each other... I am so happy... sometimes it seemed like they would never be close, but now I know they are. It's so good.


In other news, I made an appointment for 3pm on Monday to see Dr. Hulsey again and find out about my test results. Whee?

Now it's time to feed the cats and go to bed.
