sigh, no one is alive (meaning no one is online or in my apartment).

I had a busy day. I had a busy yesterday, too, and didn't have time to write about it when I got home.

I'll do the short versions since I know you don't want to read too much.

Yesterday I went to work as usual... after work I went to talk to the scholar's guy and got my scholarship held for one semester, yay! Then I went and told Linda, so now I'm not a student employee anymore, but I'm still an employee and that's good. I went and picked up my dry cleaning, and we know how that turned out (I still need pictures, I know). I picked up Brendan, Chris, and Penny, and we visited a few pawn shops and bought a keyboard. We borrowed Chase's amp and Lyle's bass. We also bought the short-scale bass from ebay! Then Brendan and I hung out for a while, I learned the bass part to Sailing the Merry Skies, and then we came to my house. Then it was time for Trigun at the Bookhouse, and then bedtime.

Today, I got to sleep in. I woke up at 8:30 to get ready to go to the doctor's. I got there early, but oh happy joy the guy was like 45 minutes behind. Eventually I got in, though, and boy am I glad I heard about him from Janke, he's a really cool guy. Dr. Hulsey, for any who need a doctor. He told me to keep exercising, get more sleep, and to look into yoga or tai chi. We also got some blood taken for TSH tests and other stuff, and I'm going to go back in about 2 weeks. He also wants me to see an opthamologist (an eye doctor that really is a doctor), but I'm not sure why.

Then I dropped by Pad Thai for lunch and went to work, and because I was late (noon instead of 8am) there were 17 messages waiting! I think I had about 8-9 of them done by the time Chris showed up, and with his help we cleared them up. Then, I was just kind of randomly talking to Chris, and realized it was 2:30 - I was supposed to be at Dr. McNeil's office. I had totally lost track of time. I raced over there, and had a pleasant visit and now I have an official prescription... woo.

Then I headed over to Goodwill, got an application, filled it out, and I have an interview on Saturday! Woohoo! I think it would be cool to work there. While I was there, Elise showed up with Chris (another Chris, one I hadn't met before) and we goofed off for a while. It was cool.

Now I'm home... I think I might do laundry tonight, and then it'll be time for more Trigun! If I'm awake for it, heh...

wow, except for the dry cleaning fiasco, that sounds like a great couple of days. dr hulsey sure gives great advice, too. maybe i should take his advice. :) i guess you'll get your lab results in 2 weeks or so?
is something wrong with your eyes? i know he said they were.. something, and that's how he thought you might have a thyroid problem. is taht the reason he wants you to go see the opthamologist? (that word always looks wrong, no matter how many times i check it. like occurred.)

I'm not sure about the eyes. It could be because i have a family history of glaucoma, and we also talked about how my eyes still haven't stabilized in vision even though I'm 21 now and they usually stop around 18. It could be thyroid-related, only I think that's excessive bags or darkness under the eyes, but I'm not sure.

The lab results should be back before I come back again in 2 weeks, nod. :)

I wonder if there's anyplace in Norman that does tai chi...

most people's vision stabilizes at 18? i thought it continued to deteriorate... i don't get it.

and i think that it shouldn't be too hard to find a tai chi place in norman. nick's been making noise about finding an instructor over here. it probably wouldn't be hard at all to find one in yokohama if only he knew how to ask. :)
