7 years ago, I was driving a rented truck across Pennsylvania in my final day of transit to move here. I arrived past midnight, tomorrow is my seventh anniversary of living in Massachusetts. (cf. http://juldea.livejournal.com/354456.html)

Heh. It was Oklahoma's loss. Pennsylvania only had me for as long as it took me to drive through it. :)

Oh man that must have been some drive! It's awesome that you keep track of the date, and that you take the time to think about anniversaries like this one. Congrats on year seven. :)

There was a convention in Pittsburgh in the middle of the drive, which helped it out a lot. I did two days from Oklahoma to Pittsburgh (stopping at my college friend's parent's house in St. Louis the first night), then stayed for the weekend in Pittsburgh, then did the final leg over one night. :)

Hooray Livejournal! It's the only way I'd know to keep track. I almost missed it, too, but another friend of mine just celebrated his one-year-in-a-new-state anniversary, so I was reminded to check.
